Light your candles, fill your bath with bubbles and let the cares of the day slip away.  Each bedroom has been individually designed with you in mind. Soft colours, mood lighting - a superb combination of modern oak furniture with designer fabrics and traditional furnishings such as the Octagonal Mouseman style coffee tables - each with a hidden acorn   

You will find a flat screen television with Freeview and DVD/CD player, hairdryer, trouser press, complimentary hot drinks tray, free broadband, a comfy sofa, two oak bedside tables, an oak writing table with chair and overhead mirror.  In your spacious bathroom you will find fluffy towels, waffle dressing gowns, piping hot water, aromatic candles, soft lighting and luxury spa therapy toiletries.

The Suites

Overlooking the gardens at the rear of the house, the Junior Suite has a new Latex bed which can be twin or double.  The lounge area has the original fire place  with comfy sofa and coffee table. The spacious ensuite bathroom not only overlooks the gardens but has a sunken bath.	The views from the seperate lounge (which has a  sofa and armchair), or the bedroom overlook the town and surrounding countryside.The room enjoys the late afternoon sun.  The spacious bedroom has a King size double bed, which can also be converted into a twin room.

The Studio Rooms

For the real romantic - an amazing 19th century Half Tester Bed with wings and curtains and original fire place.  The generous size of the modern bathroom compliments the modern oak bedroom furniture.  This room overlooks the town with far reaching views.	Recently redesigned and decorated this room now has its own lounge area with integrated t.v./dvd/freeview and  is one of the few rooms to  still boast an original wrought iron brass antique bedstead. Rich, luxurious colours give a warm romantic atmosphere

The Wing
A bright yet cosy room at the rear of the house, it overlooks the gardens including the new Potager garden presently being developed - the  church steeple is in the distance.  A modern divan for easy comfort, this room also has a wonderful spacious en suite shower room with shower for two!

Available Sunday to Thursday nights from 2 January to 25 March and 1 November to 19 December

Prices are per room per night for two people sharing a twin or double en suite room and include tea and cakes on arrival, full English breakfast and v.a.t.

Breakfast
A real treat to start your day cooked to order on the Aga.  All our breakfast ingredients are produced and sourced locally and fully provenanced including our butchers award winning pork sausages and Side Oven muesli.  We are proud to be Breakfast Members of the Deliciously Yorkshire Scheme.  In 2007 we attained an AA Breakfast Award for the standard and choice we offer.
