Car Parking
We have a private car park at the rear of the hotel accessed from Willowgate, where you can park throughout your stay.
Food
Selections from our afternoon food menu can be pre-ordered for late arrival and are available throughout your stay with appropriate notice.
Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are available in multiples of £10.00 or for the full cost of a stay
Surprises
Locally hand made Belgium chocolates, a bouquet of flowers, a chilled bottle of champagne or bottle of wine or a basket of fruit can be arranged in advance for a special surprise. For a bigger surprise why not organise a vintage car for the weekend, rally driving in the forest or some relaxing massages and treatments. Arrival and Departure
Check in from 4.30pm daily, or at other times by arrangement. It would be appreciated if you could let us know if you are arriving after 6.30 p.m. Guests arriving early can park in our car park at the rear of Burgate on Willowgate.
Departure – Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 10.30 a.m. on day of departure. Luggage can be stored by arrangement.
Reservation Policy
Reservations can be guaranteed by credit or debit card. We will take a deposit equivalent to a one nights stay and this will be subject to our cancellation policy.We ask for a non refundable deposit of the first night’s stay for all rooms reserved by cheque.Cheques should be made payable to Five Rise Enterprises Limited.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled within five working days of arrival will be charged the full amount, unless the room is re let, cancellation within 14 days of arrival 75% will be charged and if cancellation is within 28 days of arrival 50% will be charged. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing within 48hours of notification. We will endeavour to relet all cancellations however any costs incurred through the need to discount or deal will be charged. An administration charge of £25 is included and will be applied to all cancellations.We strongly advise guests to ensure they have appropriate travel insurance.
We reserve the right to charge for any damage howsoever caused
Children
Children over 10 years of age are welcome at 17. Rooms 11, 12 and 16 can accommodate a childs bed.
Pets
We accept pets with prior arrangement in one room. Pets are not permitted at any time in the public rooms nor allowed to be left unaccommpanied at any time.
Smoking
17 is a non smoking establishment. Guests are therefore requested to refrain within the house. An additional charge of one nights stay will automatically be incurred to cover additional room cleaning

There are steps down to the property from the car park and all bedrooms are on the first floor. Therefore we are not suitable for everyone but can ,and do, cope with impairments and disabilities.If you have any doubts that we can meet your requirements please check when making a reservation and read our Access Statement.
